A New Thing …

I know there are some brilliant creative minds signed up to my newsletter.

But currently it’s all one way traffic – from me to you.

I’d like to change that so I’m going to try a new thing.

My plan is for a monthly show and tell. An interactive Zoom call for up. It’ll be at 1pm on the last Friday of every month. And the idea is that everyone attending brings along something that speaks to them about the creative process.

It could be a piece of writing like this letter from Kurt Vonnegut to a bunch of school kids, or you could talk about an idea from a book you’ve just read, or it could even be as simple as a quote. No matter, so long as it has something to say about the business of having ideas and making stuff.

I’ll host the call and select three people at random to share the thing they’ve brought. And we’ll use it as stimulus to start a conversation.

Will it work?
