The Wind Thieved Hat

A podcast where I explore the creative process - the highs, the lows, the joy & the pain - with some of my favourite artists, musicians, writers, directors and makers.

Episode 04 / Jess Thom

This time I talk creativity with someone Stephen Fry has described as funny, frank, intelligent & enchantingly entertaining: Tourette’s Hero Jess Thom.

Jess and I cover a lot of ground … from the neuro-diversity movement, and how Jess ended up in the only seat in the house she wouldn’t be asked to leave - on the stage; to the creative potential of the ‘crazy language generating machine’ that is Tourette’s.

You can find out more about Jess and read her brilliant blog at www.touretteshero.com. She’s curating the Festival of Rest & Resistance in London this March - find out more here.

I think I can safely say that this is the probably going to be the only ever episode of The Wind Thieved Hat to finish with the words ‘fuck a goat’.

Enjoy.
